Born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1975. Graduated from University of Tübingen as Psychologist in 2000, dissertation on the topic of plasticity of the developing brain in 2006. Worked as clinical and scientific neuropsychologist at Tübingen University from 2000 to 2019, and as head of pediatric neuropsychology at Bern Children’s Hospital since 2016. Has been leading a range of interdisciplinary projects on the plasticity of the developing brain, preterm birth, neurofibromatosis Type 1, ADHD, and neuropsychological test development. Uses multimethod approaches including brain imaging and neuropsychological tests. Prof. Dr. Karen Lidzba is co-author of the book Neuropsychologie bei Kinder und Jugendlichen.
